Fails to Render

RS works fine locally.
When accessed from the internet, I can see the report folders; I can select
a report; it processes "Opening...."; then (briefly) "Finding site xxxx";
then nothing. No circular icon that says "Processing Report", just a big
blank page.
I have tried it as Administrator, and from both an XP/IE and Windows 2003
Server box.
RS is running on IIS 6.0, Windows 2003.
I don't know what SP is on RS. How do I find that out?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.On Fri, 22 Apr 2005 10:56:04 -0700, "JohnWoll"

MVP - InfoPath|||Thank you, Andrew, for the help in determining the SP. I am running the
latest release (8.00.878.00).
I still have the original problem: The report does not render, nor is there
any error message. The report renders fine when inside the intranet.
Please advise the best way to proceed to resolve this. I have several
clients who would like to use Reporting Services - but first I have to show
that it works!

to http://server/reportserver instead of using the Report Manager UI?

I am using fully qualified domain names.
I tried going straight to reportserver, instead of using Report Manager UI.
When I do, the report renders normally: I see the icon and message, and it
renders. I greatly appreciate the suggestion, and shame on me for not
thinking of trying that.
The question remains, why Report Manager does not render. Any suggestions?

described in the docs somewhere but I don't have the link handy.

In the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL\Reporting
Services\ReportManager folder I changed the RSWebApplication.config file by
adding a line tagged with ReportServerExternalUrl:
<ReportServerExternalURL>http://MyDomain.com/ReportServer</ReportServerExternalURL>
